SUGGESTIONS FOR THE COMPANY THAT WOULD LIKE TO OPERATE IN THE FREE INTERNATIONAL PORT OF TRIESTE.

PREAMBLE:

due to the relations the Port of Trieste still has with the Italian burocracy, unfortunately, up today it is still in a phase of transition and adaptation to international laws and practices. 

How ENTER IN THE FREE INTERNATIONAL PORT OF TRIESTE:
following the procedure established by law and regulation would be the traditional way: presenting the application with the relative documentation. Following the situation personally (not always the communication of the port is exhaustive) the amount of forms to fill out is really massive as can be seen from the links below for the concession:

The two requests are to be considered separate, therefore, for each one, all the documentation must be completed, even if previously completed for the previous request. 

PLEASE NOTE: all documentation, duly completed, MUST be delivered personally to the Port Protocol office. 

The NE.BA. has waited for the results of the requests for two (2) years and six (6) months!

As you can see, for those who are not resident in the area of Trieste, it is obliged to assume a professional figure that will work for all the formalities required and become the figure of reference between the port and the third party with all the responsibilities of the case.

The burocratic difficulties are amplified when the foreign company is outside the European Community. 

Taking such a professional figure overseasly includes also an important economic expanse. 

WHAT THE NE.BA. d.o.o . OFFERS:

The possibility of signing a collaboration agreement (Joint Venture) with any company in the world. In this way, the third company has ALL RIGHTS to operate in the International Free Port of Trieste. 

The contract of collaboration is in any case written and built to measure and with regard to the activity carried out by the third company.
In this case the third company can access in the name of the NE.BA. storage spaces in about 40 days.

For the places instead destined to the production must see the availability of the places themselves.

It is the task of the NE.BA. to check, search and find the available places. The acceptance of the places always is done after the approval of the third-party company concerned.

In both cases, NE.BA. takes responsibility for interacting in its name and on behalf of the foreign company with the Port Authority, presenting all the documentation necessary to satisfy the request.

With the collaboration contract, NE.BA. does not intend and does not want in any way to interfere in the corporate structure of the third company (does not participate in profits).

The third company has the obligation to pay to NE.BA. port services rendered (storage, warehousing, embarkation, customs clearance, etc.).

Billing is done through the NE.BA.: the NE.BA. asks a percentage as a representative in the world (thanks to the enormous scope of possible activities, this is defined in common agreement at the time of compilation of the collaboration agreement).

The NE.BA. leaves the absolute freedom for third-party companies to manage their business. 

The NE.BA. may and must exercise supervision over the performance of the activities of third parties in order to avoid illegal or unauthorized actions by these within the Free Port of Trieste.

Please note that the NE.BA. is fully responsible for the concession (s) and authorization for port activities and is therefore criminally and civilly prosecutable.

The NE.BA. makes available to collaborating companies all its own synergy created in the field of logistics and foreign contacts. Therefore in case of need, it can sign a dealership contract.
